Between 22:34 and 23:21 CEST on October 1, web experiences on custom domains were unavailable or loaded without content for many visitors. Apps and other Purple services were not affected.

The component that routes web traffic to these sites ran out of memory after a routine configuration change and kept restarting until load settled. It recovered on its own at 23:21 CEST. We have raised its memory and reduced how much each configuration change costs, and added monitoring so a repeat is detected immediately.
